PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver configured to prevent an ambient temperature of a removable HDD from being raised in use even if the receiver is installed laterally or longitudinally. SOLUTION: Components with high heating values and components with low heating values are disposed in different spaces within a case, respectively, and an adapter of a removable HDD is mounted in such a way that a removable HDD is disposed in the space where the components with low heating values are mounted, thereby preventing the ambient temperature of the removable HDD from being raised even if the removable HDD is mounted.
