PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front body structure of an automobile equipped with a front side frame in contact with a front wheel house and extending in the front and rear direction of a vehicle body, and a reinforcing member connecting a portion of the front side frame in contact with the wheel house to a vehicle body member at the rear of the wheel house, in which the reinforcing member can be disposed even when sufficient space cannot be secured at the rear of the wheel house. SOLUTION: The portion of the front side frame 5 in contact with the wheel house 6 is provided to face the inside of the wheel house 6. The reinforcing member 60 is provided inside the wheel house 6 with its front end connected to the portion of the front side frame 5 facing the wheel house 6 and extended rearward and upward, and its rear end connected to a dash panel 2 (vehicle body member).
