<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic clutch and a driving force transmission device having the electromagnetic clutch, capable of maintaining an excellent torque transmission characteristic over a long period by a driving force transmission member with a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: This electromagnetic clutch 11 has an armature 25 fitted by a spline to an inner shaft 13 so as to be integrally rotatable and movable in the axial direction, an electromagnetic coil 31 generating magnetic force for attracting the armature 25, and a bottom part 15 interposed between the armature 25 and the electromagnetic coil 31. A frictional material 26 is stuck to an opposed surface 41 of the armature 25 opposed to the bottom surface 15, and a soft magnetic material is included in the frictional material 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
