<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a plasma treatment device for exhaust gas purification, whose manufacturing efficiency is improved by facilitating a combination of a honeycomb body with a metal electrode. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of through-holes 2a and partition walls 2b for defining the through-holes 2a are formed in a honeycomb body 2 made of a ceramic material. A metal electrode 3a covers the outer peripheral part of the honeycomb body 2, and extends along the through-holes 2a. Metal electrodes 3b to 3e are buried in the partition walls 2b of the honeycomb body 2, and extend along the through-holes 2a. When the honeycomb body 2 is formed by extrusion, the metal electrodes 3a to 3e are disposed in molds used for forming the honeycomb body 2 by extrusion. Thus, when the honeycomb body 2 is formed by extrusion, the honeycomb body 2 and the metal electrodes 3a to 3e are integrated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
