<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of sufficiently suppressing a decrease in processing efficiency of whole jobs, caused by switching of ejection places for image forming mediums. <P>SOLUTION: The multi-functional machine 1 stores image formation jobs input successively into a storage part 12 and assigns execution order to the jobs. Before the execution of each of the image formation jobs, the multi-functional machine 1 specifies an ejection place switchable according to the type of post-processing, and determines whether switching of the ejection place in relation to a job being executed is required or not. Then, the machine 1 switches the execution order so that a job that does not require ejection place switching is given priority over the others and executed. Subsequently, following the execution order, the machine 1 executes the image formation jobs stored in the storage part 12 and conveys and ejects paper along conveying paths corresponding to the ejection places. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
