PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display information so that a feature of a user is grasped more effectively and efficiently. SOLUTION: On the basis of user information and content meta information, user preference information (A) is produced. By performing analysis by PLSA (probabilistic latent semantic analysis) for the user preference information (A), user preference information (B) as a vector with an element number compressed therein is produced. Then, on the basis of the user preference information (A) and the user preference information (B), for example, a user's preference expression value is calculated. The preference expression value is a value used for enabling intuitive understanding of the feature of a user's preference. On the basis of the calculated preference expression value, the feature of the user's preference is expressed enabling intuitive understanding of the feature of the user's preference and is presented (displayed).
