PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure consistency of data in a storage and reduce a resynchronization time. SOLUTION: This storage system is configured of a pair of a first volume in a first storage device 120 and a second volume in a second storage device 220 to remotely copy data written in the first volume to the second volume by using a journal volume included in the first storage device. The storage system includes: a time table for managing an update time and update data quantity for remote copy; a simulation control part for simulating the resynchronization time for resynchronizing the first volume and the second volume by using the time table; and a remote copy control part for controlling the remote copy on the basis of the resynchronization time simulated by the simulation control part.
