PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable electronic equipment which is easily assembled with a small number of parts and has excellent outside appearance, and its assembly method. SOLUTION: A shutter button aperture part 50 is formed on the upper surface of an outside case main body 40 formed to be cylindrical, and a shutter button member 130 is attached to the shutter button aperture part 50. A switch substrate 94 is positioned and attached to an inside frame 60 housed in the outside case main body 40, and a depression plate 104 is positioned and attached to the switch substrate 94. The depression plate 104 attached to the switch substrate 94 is arranged so that its presser part 110 may be above a switch 96. When the internal frame 60 is inserted in the outside case main body 40, the presser part 110 is arranged under the shutter button member 130, and the shutter button member 130 is held by the presser part 110.
