PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small ion concentration measuring instrument capable of suppressing power consumption. SOLUTION: The ion concentration measuring instrument 1 serving also as a vehicle mobile device generally comprises a case 2 having a through-hole 23, a positive electrode 21 provided on a side surface of the through-hole 23 for charging positive charges, a negative electrode 22 provided on other side surface of the through-hole 23 opposite to the positive electrode 21, an acceleration sensor 26 provided in the case 2 for outputting an electric signal based on acceleration generated by shake operation, a control part 200 for calculating a flow rate of an atmosphere flowing in the through-hole 23 based on the electric signal output from the acceleration sensor 26, and a negative ion concentration in the atmosphere based on the charges charged on the positive electrode 21 so as to readily calculate the negative ion concentration in the atmosphere.
