<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new water-soluble photoinitiator which has high sensitivity and hardly turns yellow, to provide a photopolymerizable composition which hardly causes color contamination and has excellent color reproducibility and to provide a photocuring method. <P>SOLUTION: The photoinitiator is the compound shown by general formula (1) (wherein X is an oxygen or sulfur atom; Y is a bivalent coupling group; Z is carboxylic acid or its salt or sulfonic acid or its salt; R, R<SB>5</SB>and R<SB>6</SB>are each an alkyl or alkoxyl group; R<SB>7</SB>is an aryl, hydroxyl, alkyl or alkoxyl group; and n is a natural number of 2-4). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
