PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable shorts-shaped article to be worn which does not irritate the skin owing to elastic members attached along the leg hole margins. SOLUTION: A disposable shorts-shaped article 1 to be worn has an elastic member 30 in the shape of a band of 5 to 60 mm in width which is attached along the margin of a leg hole and runs halfway around the hole. The elastic member 30 has an end section 32 located at the top of the leg hole, a center section 31 which is located at the bottom of the leg hole and gets across a crotch area 6, and an intermediate section 34 located between the end section 32 and the center section 31, and the intermediate section 34 is unbound to a sheet material constituting the article to be worn for instance.
