PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular power steering device capable of achieving the consistent steering feeling by adequately eliminating any disturbance for the targeted torque when providing the torque for assisting the steering operation. SOLUTION: In the power steering device, the target torque To is set according to the vehicle speed v and the lateral acceleration Yg, and the assist torque Ta is controlled so that the steering torque Tθis the targeted torque To. In particular, the steering parameters (K, C, J, Tfmax) are map-computed based on the vehicle speed v and the lateral acceleration Yg, and the respective corresponding steering parameters (Ke, Ce, Je, Tfmaxe) are estimated from the time-series relationship of the steering angleθand the steering torque Tθ.
