PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil-wedge inserting device preventing deterioration in insertability of a wedge in increasing the density of a coil in a slot of a stator core of an electric motor. SOLUTION: In the coil-wedge inserting device, a protrusion for hooking a step difference of a wedge on a position corresponding to a slot opening in an external peripheral side surface is provided on a stripper moving in a core axis direction together with a blade to which a wound coil is hooked, when the wedge for insulating wound coils bundled for insertion into the slot from the outside, into the slot of the stator core together with the wound coils.
