PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil-wedge inserting device preventing displacement of a wedge due to deterioration in insertability of the wedge in increasing the density of a coil in a slot of a stator core of an electric motor. SOLUTION: In the coil-wedge inserting device, a protrusion for preventing displacement of the wedge is provided on a wedge pressing surface of a wedge pusher used for pressing one end of a wedge to move the wedge, when inserting the wedge for insulating wound coils bundled for insertion into the slot from the outside, into the slot of the stator core together with the wound coils.
