PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform respective fault detections of a slave station unit and a control unit which are mounted on a switch remote control apparatus. SOLUTION: The tester for a switch remote control apparatus is connected between a slave station unit and a control unit after disconnecting the slave station unit and the control unit when testing the switch remote control apparatus, wherein the switch remote control apparatus includes: the slave station unit for communicating with a master station when remotely supervising and controlling an switch provided on a power distribution line from the master station; and the control unit for opening/closing the switch upon receipt of an ON/OFF command of the switch from the master station via the slave station unit. The tester for the switch remote control apparatus includes: a first display section which fetches a first output signal outputted from the slave station unit toward the control unit when remotely supervising and controlling the switch from the master station, and displays thereon a state of the relevant first output signal; and a second display section which fetches a second output signal outputted from the control unit toward the slave station unit when remotely supervising and controlling the switch from the master station, and displays thereon a state of the relevant second output signal.
