PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetometric sensor device for accurately detecting magnetism even when the relation between the magnetic field intensity and output voltage is nonlinear while an object to be measured is not limited to an alternating current magnetic field, and to provide its control method. SOLUTION: The magnetometric sensor device for detecting the magnetic field intensity using a Hall element comprises a one chip microcomputer for determining, by operation, a set value for canceling a Hall voltage error with respect to the magnetic flux density of the Hall element and controlling the power supply voltage of the Hall element. When the relation between the magnetic field intensity and output voltage is nonlinear and when the magnetic field intensity is direct current or alternating current, the magnetism can be detected accurately.
