PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kit for inspection, enabling safe and efficient handling and processing specimens whose contact with operators, or whose exposure to the outside environment is not desirable. SOLUTION: The kit for inspection is provided with a container body 6 in which an extract 8 is housed; a lid member 7 with a seal-releasing function; an opening jig 14 for forming a through-hole 11 in a membranous part 4 of a bottom part 5 of the container body 6; and a liquid passage sealing lid 15 for preventing outflow of the extract from the through-hole 11. The lid member with the seal-releasing function is provided with: an opener part 27 for breaking a membranous sealing member 10; and a cap part 37 for sealing an opening part 3. The opener part is provided with a pointed end part 27a which smashes into the membranous sealing member; and an opening-region enlarging function part 27b for enlarging the opening region of the membranous sealing member. When the cap part and the container body are helically engaged with each other, the opener part is moved so as to make the opening-region-enlarging function part reach a position in contact with the inner circumference of the opening part as the opening-region-enlarging function part is rotating.
