PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus, including an electronic apparatus body and a remote controller that radio-communicates with the electronic apparatus body to control the electronic apparatus body, and to provide a remote controller charging method, wherein in particular, the remote controller can be surely and easily charged, and also, the control between the remote controller and the electronic apparatus body can be easily performed. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the electronic apparatus, including the electronic apparatus body and the remote controller that radio-communicates with the electronic apparatus body to control the electronic apparatus body. The remote controller includes its own battery for supplying a driving power. The electronic apparatus body includes a main body battery; a storage section for storing the remote controller; a conversion means for converting the surplus energy generated, when driving the electronic apparatus body to a power; and a charging control circuit that charges the main body battery, with the power converted by the conversion means and charges the controller battery by means of the main body battery, when the remote controller is stored in the storage section.
