PRECAST CONCRETE BEAM JOINING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining structure for joining a precast concrete beam and a precast concrete beam which eliminates the need of a form work at site. SOLUTION: At least one of the opposed end surfaces of a first precast concrete beam and a second precast concrete beam comprises a precast buried form which is formed along the outer periphery of the end surface and opened upward. An insertion part is formed in the end surface of the second precast concrete beam. A first beam reinforcement is connected to a second beam reinforcement by inserting a mechanical joint into the insertion part. Then, concrete is cast in the precast buried form to join the first precast concrete beam to the second precast concrete beam. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
