SCRATCH-RESISTANT FLAMEPROOF THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION WITH IMPROVED COMPATIBILITY

Disclosed herein is a scratch-resistant flameproof thermoplastic resin composition, the resin composition comprising (A) about 50 to about 90 parts by weight of a polycarbonate resin; (B) about 1 to about 50 parts by weight of a methacrylic copolymer resin with a refractive index of about 1.495 to about 1.590; and (C) about 0 to about 49 parts by weight of a (meth)acrylic resin, based on about 100 parts by weight of a base resin comprising (A) + (B) + (C), and (D) about 5 to about 40 parts by weight of a flame retardant. The resin composition of the present invention has good flame retardancy, scratch resistance, colorability, and good appearance due to its improved compatibility, and thus plastic molded articles which exhibit better physical properties than conventional products may be produced from the resin compos i t i on.
