#CMT# #/CMT# The device (1) has a handling unit (3) e.g. shrink tunnel, and a handling unit (4) i.e. palletizing machine, provided for articles (2). A storage device (7) has holding locations (8) e.g. rotary devices, for temporary holding of the articles. The holding locations are moved at a horizontal axle between a holding position for holding the articles and a storage position. The storage device is designed as a wheel and is arranged above transporting sections (5). The locations are provided at a circumference of the storage device. The locations have a gripping device for clamping of the articles. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Device for handling articles i.e. package (claimed) such as beverage container. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The holding locations e.g. rotary devices, for temporary holding of the articles and moved at the horizontal axle between the holding position for holding the articles and the storage position, thus avoiding the damage of the articles in the handling units when stopping the conveyance in a simple and space-saving manner.
