<p>An optical relay system comprises: a first optical signal distribution device (101), phase detection device (103), amplitude regeneration device (102) and phase regeneration and load device (104). An optical relay method includes steps that: an input signal received is divided into two paths; the phase information of one path of the input signal is extracted, and is converted to an amplitude modulated signal; the amplitude of the other path of the input signal is restored to produce an amplitude regenerated signal; the phase is loaded on the amplitude regenerated signal by using the amplitude modulated signal to produce a phase regenerated signal. The system and method eliminate the phase noise of the signal in the transmission process, improve the transmission performance of the signal, and the implementation method is simple.</p> |
