A floatable water cover is provided to prevent the generation of green algae or red tide phenomena and the inhabitation of harmful insects and to suppress the emission of odor from the sewage or wastewater by covering the surface of sewage or wastewater with the floatable water cover, thereby shading the light. A floatable water cover comprises plate type cover members(10), sheet type cover members(20), and connecting members(30). The plate type cover members have a plurality of connection holes(11) formed in peripheral parts(12) thereof. The plate type cover members float on the water. The sheet type cover members have a plurality of connection holes(21) formed in peripheral parts(22) thereof. The connecting members include loop portions(32) formed on both ends of wires(31). The floatable plate type cover members and sheet type cover members are connected to one another by connecting members to form a band type cover capable of being folded in a zigzag shape. |
