<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entrance and exit management system capable of improving the security strength of an entrance and exit possible area. <P>SOLUTION: The entrance and exit management system 20 is provided with authentication control apparatuses 2-5 for reading the information of an authentication medium and authenticating the read information, and a management server 14 for managing the authentication control apparatuses, and the management server 14 sets the kind of the authentication medium to be authenticated for each security section of a management zone to the authentication control apparatuses 2-5.
