摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem encountered when there is provided a function of comparing a current passed through a switching element SW in an on-board power conversion circuit with a threshold value and thereby determining whether or not there is an anomaly of the passage of excessive current: it is difficult to provide a driving device for the on-board power conversion circuit with versatility. SOLUTION: A photocoupler 38 time-sharingly outputs a signal for the setting of the above threshold value and a driving signal for the switching element SW. In a start detection circuit 70, an output signal sg2 that is kept at logical "H" during a predetermined period of time after the start of a control system is output. This implements the following: during the predetermined period of time, the output signal sg3 of an AND circuit 64 agrees with the output signal sg1 of the photocoupler 38 and in a serial/analog converter 60 the above threshold value can be set based on this; and after the predetermined period of time passes, the output signal sg5 of an AND circuit 50 agrees with the output signal sg1 of the photocoupler 38 and the switching element SW can be driven.
