摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display medium that improves color density while suppressing color remaining and color unevenness without lowering a display speed, and to provide a display device. SOLUTION: Since projection pieces of a projection group 25 provided on a substrate opposite surface of a display substrate 20 are arranged projecting in a substrate opposite surface direction, particles of a moving particle group 34 are easily stuck and restricted on its outer circumferential surface one over another when viewed from a visual field direction, and the color density is improved. Further, the projection group 25 is formed on the substrate surface by, for example, a molding method etc., without varying in shape and in position, so variation in restricted particle density is suppressed, thereby restricting color unevenness. Then the projection group 25 is arranged projecting in the substrate opposite surface direction, so there are less binding points (contact portions) between projection pieces 25A to be an obstacle to movement of the moving particle group 34 and the moving speed of the particles is not reduced to suppress a decrease in display speed.
