PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately prevent curling of a printed matter while avoiding a decrease of a production efficiency by preventing an ink from concentrating locally. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes an image data analyzing part 202 which analyzes characteristics of an image formed when a sheet of paper is conveyed by a circulation system conveyance path CR of a loop shape and image formation is carried out to the paper surface on the circulation system conveyance path CR, and an image formation control part 203 which divides processing of image formation to a plurality of the number of times according to the analysis result by the image data analyzing part 202 and makes the divided image formation processing sequentially carried out associatively with the circulation movement on the circulation conveyance path of the paper.
