PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an independent column for a steel house that can improve productivity and work efficiency of the steel house, and the steel house using the independent column, and a panel construction method. SOLUTION: The independent column 22 is erected at each of corner parts 20 of the steel house 10. The independent column 22 is composed of a column body 26 formed of a steel pipe column, and studs 28 fixed to two side faces. A wall panel 24 creating no edge-to-face joint is inserted between the facing independent columns 22 from the upper side of a building and fixed to the independent columns 22.
