PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puncture sealant sealable even a puncture hole formed by a relatively big nail larger than 4 mm in diameter and allowing easy washing removal of dirt inside a tire caused on emergency repair by the sealant. SOLUTION: The puncture sealant for sealing a hole in a flat tire includes a water-soluble acrylic resin, an antifreezing agent, resin particles and short fibers. Preferably, the content of the water-soluble acrylic resin is 0.3-10 mass%, the content of the antifreezing agent is 5-60 mass%, and the content of the resin particles and short fibers in total is 2-10 mass%.
