PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyarylene sulfide resin composition having a high crystallization rate. SOLUTION: The composition is prepared by compounding (A) 100 parts by weight of a polyarylene sulfide resin with (B) 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of a carboxylic acid amide compound having a melting point of from 240 to 320°C and a 5% weight reduction temperature of not lower than 320°C.
