PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wooden clog that has a structure capable of absorbing impact from a road surface by sticking a planar elastic member to the lower face of the base and that can be used for a long time without allowing a heel member to wear off quickly through a user's walking motion. SOLUTION: In the lower face of the base 11, a center part is scraped, with the front step-in part 11a and the rear heel part 11b dividedly projecting, wherein a bottom plate member 14 made of a planar elastic member is stuck to the lower face of the step-in part 11a, and wherein a heel member 15 made of a planar elastic member is stuck to the lower face of the heel part 11b. The wooden clog 10 is formed so that the heel member 15 includes: a flat section 15a in which the lower face abuts on the road surface in a state where the bottom plate member 14 abuts on the road surface in the range from the front end to the vicinity of the front side; and an upward inclined section 15b which is sloped upward from the vicinity of the front side to the rear end to allow the lower face to be in non-contact with the road surface in a state where the bottom plate member 14 abuts on the road surface in the range from the vicinity of the front side to the rear end.
