A display control device comprises: a memory for storing display data displayed on a display section; an operation section for specifying a display area which is the area displayed on the display section in the display data; an address value setting section for setting the set address value of a memory address which is the address of the display data stored in the memory; an address specifying section for specifying the read start address of the display area for the memory address on the basis of a first operation amount by the operation section; and a specified address change section for comparing the memory address specified by the address specifying section with the set address value set by the address value setting section and, if the memory address value is matched to the set address value, changing the read start address specified by the address specifying section into a different memory address from the specified read start address.
