A device for orienting the blind swimmers comprises the swimming-pool with the dividers of the lanes drawn between the end wall of the swimming-pool. The vertical flexible bars are installed in the water vertically. The bars are fixed in the pipes attached to the openings of the beam with the length being several centimeters less than the length of the swimming-pool. The ends of beam are put into the "pockets" of the movable constructions with the panels fastened above and below. The panels have the openings for the screw. The upper part of the screw is fixed on the upper panel allowing for turning around with two half-rings inserted into the groove of the screw head of the rectangular shape. The key put onto the rectangle rotates the screw in the opening through the panel, the beam, and the threaded plug pressed into the end-face of the beam. When being rotated, the screw moves the beam up or down increasing or decreasing the distance from the surface of the water to the bars arranged in two rows being located under the pathway of the swimmers in the lane generating underwater "combs" for the orientation. The length of such "combs" should be 21 m for 25-m lane with 2 meters being left on each side for the turn of the sportsmen. |
