A method for detecting the excessive offset of the torque signal, and its apparatus are provided to detect the excessive offset generated at a torque sensor during the vehicle traveling. A method for detecting the excessive offset of the torque signal comprises the steps of (S210,S220) receiving the torque signal at an ECU (Electronic Control Unit) and calculating the difference value between the received torque signal by using the difference equation; (S230) comparing the calculated difference value with the preset excessive offset critical value; (S240,S250) determining that the excessive offset occurs at the torque signal if the calculated difference value is greater than the excessive offset critical value; and making feedback to the first step if the calculated difference value is smaller than the excessive offset critical value. |
