<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an error management system capable of easily reporting an error to a support center when the error occurs, and to provide an image display apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The error management system 1, when an error is detected, generates a QR code representing error information concerned with the error and URL information for connecting a product support site and displays an error warning picture including the QR code. When a user picks up the displayed QR code by a digital camera function of a portable communication terminal, the error information and the URL information are acquired on the basis of the picked up code image.
