<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of reducing the accumulation of particles more effectively. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disk device includes: a turntable that rotatably supports an optical disk being an information recording medium; and an optical pickup that reads or writes information from or to an information recording plane of the optical disk supported on the turntable.
