<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the accuracy in detecting a free fall is deteriorated due to the detection of centrifugal force in the free fall accompanied by rotation, because conventional free fall detection determines the free fall when all of three axes of a three-axis acceleration sensor are at a prescribed value or lower. <P>SOLUTION: In an imaging apparatus including a free fall detection means which determines a free fall when detected accelerations in three directions by the three-axis acceleration sensor are simultaneously at a prescribed threshold or lower, a free fall determination criterion by the three-axis acceleration sensor varies based on the state of cables. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
