PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system having high verification accuracy, which records an original guarantee code pattern for guaranteeing both the identification of an original and the validity of contents of a document on a document in a single pass, and preventing troublesomeness in using fingerprints on paper. SOLUTION: A sensor for reading discrimination information is provided at an arbitrary portion on a transfer path in which after front face recording of a recording medium, the recording medium is carried in again after carried out and then back face recording is executed.
