PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector that is mounted with a thin electronic functional card storing a memory chip and the like and that is capable of positioning cards having different shapes inside a casing thereof, and that is also capable of preventing cards from being inserted in a wrong posture. SOLUTION: A slider 41 is slidably provided inside a casing body 22 of the card connector 20, and the slider 41 is provided with a standard stopper 45, a movable stopper 47 and a rotation member 44 allowing the movable stopper 47 to move. A first card C1 touches the standard stopper 45 and is thereby positioned, and a second card touches the movable stopper 47 and is thereby positioned. An erroneous insertion prevention projection part 44a is integrally formed with the rotation member 44. Thus, when the first card C1 and the second card are inserted in a wrong posture, they hit the erroneous insertion prevention projection part 44a, and thereby erroneous insertion of the cards is prevented.
