PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yard crane allowing transverse traveling and vertical traveling, reduction of load in relation to an environment and suppression of an increase of equipment cost. SOLUTION: This yard crane is provided with a motor 23 for traveling for generating power for traveling to be used for traveling of a crane body, motors 25 and 33 for cargo handling for generating power for winding for winding up/down cargos and trolley driving force for driving a trolley, a power receiving part 7 mounted to be connectable/disconnectable to/from an external power feeding part 41 for supplying power to the motor 23 and the motors 25 and 33, and a charging/discharging part 8 for charging at least one of power supplied from the power feeding part 41 and power regenerated from the motor 33 for cargo handling at a winding down time and for supplying power to at least the motor 23 when the power receiving part 7 is separated from the power feeding part 41.
