PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable suppression of the capacity of an incubator. SOLUTION: An incubator part 11 houses culture vessels each containing a sample and cultures the sample under a cell culture environment suitable for cell culture. An articulated robot 21 carries the culture vessel through the incubator part 11. A robot main body part 21a driving a robot arm part 21b among mechanisms composing the articulated robot 21 is installed outside the incubator part 11. The robot arm part 21b carrying the culture vessel is inserted from the opening 11d of the side wall 11b of the incubator part 11 into the inner space 11a and installed so as to be separated from the robot main body part 21a by the side wall 11b.
