The container has a door (10) provided with a lock, and storage shelves (12) formed at an inner side (14) of the door. The storage shelves are formed by a distance piece (18), a front wall (16) and base elements (22) for holding articles, where the distance piece is attached to the inner side of the door. The front wall is attached to the distance piece parallel to the inner side of the door,and is made of transparent plastic. The base elements are provided between the front wall and the door, and recesses (20) are provided in the front wall, and provide access to the shelves.
