<p>Described is a device (4) for actuating a component which is rotatably mounted on a shaft (3), preferably a gearwheel (3A to 3D), which is designed as a loose wheel, of a transmission device (1), which component can be moved, by means of at least one activation device (4A, 4B) which has an electric actuator (5, 17), into an activated state in which the component is rotationally fixedly connected to the shaft (3), and wherein the component can be acted on from the interior of the shaft (3) with the actuating force required for activation or deactivation.
