<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-sensitized solar cell which controls a water permeation into an electrolyte solution layer. <P>SOLUTION: The dye-sensitized solar cell includes an electrode plate having a resin base board and an electrode laminated on the resin base board and an electrolyte solution layer which is composed of the electrode plate and a sealing material and in which an electrolyte solution is sealed. The electrode of the electrode plate is arranged on a side of the electrolyte solution layer.
