<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card reader device capable of eliminating interference, reducing malfunctions to occur in communication with an IC card, and improving system efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The card reader device comprises a plurality of card readers 3-1-1 to 3-1-9, wherewith radio communication is performed between a wireless IC card 3-2-1 to 3-2-6 having no power source and the card reader which the IC card gets close to. The card readers placed close enough to each other to cause interference in communication with the IC card are directly connected to each other through a line so as to respectively output to the line a contact signal 3-7-1 (a/b) indicative of whether communication with the IC card is possible and check the status of each other, and the card reader outputting an earliest status signal indicating that it can communicate with the IC card is preferentially allowed to perform communication with the IC card. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
