PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an X-ray image suitable for the diagnosis of a heart part by simple roentgenography reducing the load of a patient and low in cost. SOLUTION: A radiographic system includes an X-ray source for emitting X-rays, a detector for detecting the X-rays emitted from the X-ray source, a holding part for rotatably holding a subject being a photographing target between the X-ray source and the detector, and a reading part for reading the X-ray image from the detector. The control part of a photographic console is constituted so as to variably control the angle-of-rotation phase of the holding part and, at the time of pre-photographing, X-rays are emitted in a plurality of angle-of rotation phases by the X-ray source and an angle-of-rotation phase making the long axis of the heart region longest is calculated on the basis of each of the X-ray images obtained from the detection by the reading part in each of the angle-of-rotation phases (step S1).
