<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve gear and a rocker arm unit capable of simplifying a shape of a clip. <P>SOLUTION: A valve gear is provided with a lash adjuster 30 (supporting member) fixed to a cylinder head 10, a rocker arm 20 which is mounted on the lash adjuster 30 so as to be placed on the latter, and a plate-shaped clip 44 mountable to the rocker arm 20 having a fitting hole 45 in which an outer periphery of the lash adjuster 30 is fitted so that the clip 44 is prevented from falling off. A pair of walls 41 are formed on the rocker arm 20 so as to be opposed to each other with the lash adjuster 30 being located therebetween. A locking groove 42 (locking portion) is formed in inner faces of the walls 41 so that outer edges of the clip 44 are elastically engaged with the locking groove 42 to retain the clip 44 on the rocker arm 20 so that the clip 44 is prevented from falling off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
