<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for monitoring the stability of a construction machine. <P>SOLUTION: A gyroscope is configured to detect an angle of inclination of the construction machine 10 relative to a vertical axis and generate a signal indicating the inclination angle. A processor operably communicating with the gyroscope receives the inclination angle and generates a warning signal when the angle exceeds a predetermined threshold. When the angle has exceeded the predetermined threshold, an alarm device 40 operably communicating with the processor raises an alarm to indicate the fact to a user of the construction machine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
