PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a basic property in such a way as to make it possible to quickly and accurately estimate simultaneous switching output (SSO) signal noises that are caused when input and output signals of a plurality of pins in a semiconductor device such as FPGA operate simultaneously. SOLUTION: At the initial stage of device designing, a circuit analysis control unit 701 on a board for evaluation causes SSO noise basic property data measured at the board for evaluation to be stored in an SSO noise basic property data storage unit 704, and an SSO noise calculating unit 702 calculates a rough amount of SSO noise based on the SSO noise basic property data. After a noise check becomes possible and design progresses and the parameter of PCB is determined, a circuit analysis control unit 703 at an actual device PCB obtains the SSO nose basic property data again based on actual device PCB design information, and corrects the SSO noise basic property data in 704. Thereafter, the SSO noise calculating unit 702 again conducts detailed analysis of the amount of SSO noise using the corrected SSO noise basic property data. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
