PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system appropriately detecting frauds, which infest and give tremendous damage on the game machine industry and the general public, such as fraudulently removing or replacing connectors of various types of electric wire assemblies (hereinafter, referred to as a harness) connected to electronic circuits or the like, fraudulently opening circuit storage boxes for storing the electronic circuits or the like (hereinafter, referred to as the circuit storage box), fraudulently opening safes, storage chambers or the like, and fraudulently opening doors and intruding into buildings and houses. SOLUTION: An optical path cut-off type abnormality sensor consists of a detection part and a clamp, and an object such as the harness and the circuit storage box is clamped by the clamp. This abnormality monitoring system by optical fibers can instantaneously detect the presence/absence of various types of abnormalities by the operation of the detection part which detects a change in the optical connection between a light-transmission fiber 21 and a light-receiving fiber 20 in the monitoring optical fiber.
